The Auxiliary was started in the 1940s and was organized to promote Christian fellowship among the faculty, parents, and students of St. John’s Lutheran School. It is also to engage in missionary work in the school and assist the faculty when needed. We feel that the school is a mission and extension of our church here at St. John’s.
Any parent of a child enrolled in St. John’s Lutheran School, preschool through eighth grade, is a member of the St. John’s Lutheran School Auxiliary. Although the Auxiliary has an elected board of officers that oversees the working aspects of the organization, it would not be successful without the cooperation and participation of our Governing Board (Co-Chair positions) and the General Membership (all SJLS parents).
