A 1985 graduate of Concordia University, Seward, NE, Mr. Unger earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a B.A. in Sacred Music.  Mr. Unger has taught in Lutheran schools for the past 20 years, nine of those years as an administrator and music director.  Mr. Unger received a Master of Arts degree in Special Education from Azusa Pacific University and is a resource specialist with Lutheran Special Education Ministries.  He is an adjunct professor in the School of Education at Concordia University, Irvine, and chairman of the district Standardized Testing Committee.  He and his wife, Leigh Ann, enjoy travel to tropical destinations.  "God is our refuge and strength, an ever present help in trouble."
