Mrs. Hoyt has 39 years of experience in Education, 30 having been at St. John's Lutheran School.  She taught first grade until 1999, and now serves the students of St. John's through the library.  A graduate of Concordia University, Seward Nebraska, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. In November 2004, Mrs. Hoyt became a National Board Certified Teacher in Library Media.  She is the first school librarian in Orange County to receive this certification.  Interests outside of school include quilting, bicycling and reading.  "Come near to God and He will come near to you."  James 4:8
