Chapel is an important part of developing a worshipful heart. It occurs every Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. for all classes. Most chapel services are for all grade levels and are in the Sanctuary. Periodically a split chapel service will be held. Kindergarten through Grade 4 meet in the Sanctuary and Grade 5-8 meet in the Auditorium. You are invited to join us each Wednesday.

Worship is a relational experience and students get the chance to relate to one another through the chapel partner program. Students in Grades 6-8 are partnered with students in Grades K-2 during chapel to foster a mentor relationship. These “chapel partners” also develop those relationships outside of chapel during special activities throughout the year.

The chapel leaders vary from week to week. Some are from our staff here at St. John’s and others come from off campus to join us and share the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Each year St. John’s has a special Baptism Chapel Service where students in the school who have not been baptized have the opportunity to be baptized. If you are interested or know someone who might be interested, please contact Pastor Sipes at (714) 288-4432.
